Batteries and electrical
If you see the low battery light on in your dash, it’s important to quickly bring your car for a battery replacement. Without a functioning battery, your car will not be able to start.
Other noticeable signs of a bad battery:
- When turning the key to start your car, the ignition may not always start the engine.
- You may hear a loud sound from the alternator.
Brake services
Our Brakes services include, but are not limited to the following:
- Brake Inspection: Inspecting and diagnosing why your break light maybe on, squeaky breaks, or as part of regular break check. This also includes the inspection of the parking brake assembly and the power brake booster.
- Brake Rotor/Pad/Shoe Replacement: As the brakes on your car wear out, replacing them with new ones becomes necessary.
- Brake Fluid Services: Regular brake fluid exchange.
- Anti-Lock System (ABS): Complete ABS System check.
A/C Repair
A vehicle’s Air Conditioning system is integral in providing a comfortable interior. There are several components that make up the A/C system and it’s important to always keep them maintained. Most vehicle’s A/C’s work by circulating a refrigerant (coolant) through the A/C system. In addition to this coolant, there also are dryer, receivers, accumulator, expansion drive, and the lines between these vital components need regular inspection.

How often should you change your car’s oil?
It’s recommended for non-German cars built in the last decade, to change your oil every 8,000 K.M. For German Cars built in the last decade, it’s recommended to change your oil every 15,000 K.M.
Oil Change
Regular oil change is essential for your car. Here at Civic Autos, every oil change includes a complimentary filter change as well. There are two options for you to choose from:
- Regular oil
- Synthetic oil
- Liqui Moly – Fully Synthetic

M.T.O Safety Standards Certificate
New Civic Autos is licensed by the M.T.O to issue safety standard certificates. If you’re planning on buying/selling a car, this certificate is highly suggested and in some cases is required. If you plan to drive for Uber/Lyft, then a safety certificate is mandatory.
Radiator maintenance
The radiator is the main working system in your engine to keep it cool and avoid overheating. It does that by airing out the hot liquid, called coolant, which is circulating inside of the engine.
It’s important to ensure the appropriate area of your radiator gets addressed.
It’s recommended to flush your radiator fluid every 100,000 km.

Tires and laser wheel alignment
Winter tires, Summer tires, or all season tires? Which ones are right for you?
- Winter Tires: These tires have very strong traction due to their tread edges that have increased grip. These are perfect for extremely snowy roads.
- Summer Tires: These tires have flatter treads and in turn don’t consume as much fuel since they have very low rolling resistance.
- All Season Tires: These tires find the balance between winter tires and summer tires. They are ideal for driving in the summer and modest winter snow.
Laser Wheel Alignment
Does your car sometimes feel like the steering wheel is vibrating? Does your car swerve on to one side even though it feels like you’re driving straight ahead? These are signs that you may need a wheel alignment to re-calibrate your tires. We suggest getting a wheel alignment every 2-3 years.
